Where to start?

I have finally started to recover after SUCH a fun and happy wedding weekend and as we debrief with friends about how special it all felt – I am reminded of how incredibly helpful it was to have you by our side.

Margaret and Cole are still gushing about how they truly had the weekend of their dreams! 

You have such a lovely and gracious manner and all agreed from day one that it just felt like you would have been someone we invited as a guest. You have a gift for projecting a sense of calm and “no problem at all – we can do that.”

Thank you for masterfully balancing what MarCo wanted and any concerns Peter or I might have had. Thank you for handling our budget discussions in such an upfront and practical manner. And thank you for understanding my “tree worm” worries! Lol

And the on the Big Day – thank you for quietly (and with absolutely no ego)  making sure everything ran smoothly (including impressively holding off the storm through the ceremony – lol.)

I truly didn’t worry about anything, confident that you were in quiet control and we could instead simply focus on Margaret and Cole’s joy and love. 

I remember at the outset suggesting that I hoped that the wedding could feel simply gracious and elegant but also SUPER friendly!

With your help- I think we nailed it!

We hope you’re having a good summer so far! We’re still basking in how lovely June 8 was, and I’m sure we will be for many years to come. Thank you for all you did to make that such a special, happy and beautiful event for us as the finale of our wedding celebrations this year. It felt almost like a surprise party since Hormuz and I were able to focus on other things this Spring while you and my mum took the helm.

We truly didn’t know what to expect in that space and the result was stunning! Somehow with all the different corners of the layout there was plenty of room but it felt intimate and cozy within the different zones in the tent, patio and restaurant at the same time. The furniture was perfect to keep everyone comfortable and looked great.

The flowers were so beautifully done! We got so many compliments on them that week as our friends loved being able to continue enjoying them by taking some home. We felt lucky that those unique blooms were in season just then.

The caterers did a great job, and we were glad to have more fuel later at night with those yummy little desserts and poutine. I know my parents appreciated the extra effort to have the drinks and glassware just right for a great party.

We’re loving going through our pictures now and grateful for the referral to the Sollis team. Special memories to treasure.

And best for last – the music!!!! Miles and the team did such a fantastic job over the whole night. Live music is such a treat and this team was just incredible. We loved having music in the air earlier on as we chatted with everyone. Molly Johnson was such a lovely surprise! Her voice was amazing and the songs she chose were a delight to listen to. When the dance floor got started the band really worked their magic. Every one of the instrumentalists and singers were fantastic. The last soloist to join on stage to sing towards the end was such a fun surprise too! The DJ did a great job with the rest of the night and it was fun to have a few of our favourite Indian hits woven into the evening. Memories of all the music will standout as years pass as it was all fabulous.

It was such a gift to be able to celebrate with friends and family from near and far. You created a setting where we could just enjoy an exceptional evening and soak up all the love coming our way.
